About A Walk
Foraging, Wild Food, Wild Medicine and Wild Stories ! A wild food adventure walk through the Hampshire countryside from the historic village of Cheriton. This was our first walk last year on the same weekend and it didn’t disappoint. Walking through the village we discover just how many deadly plants surround the houses but also encounter water based plants like fools watercress.
Moving up onto the chalk downs the hedgerows are ablaze with life from nettles and thistles to willow herb and stitchwort. It’s a wonderful time of year to experience the English Countryside.
